JOSEPH P. LANE, CO-CHAIRMAN AND CO-FOUNDER
As co-chairman of Nextjet Technologies, Joseph Lane is responsible for the overall strategic vision of the organization. Prior to founding Nextjet in February 1999, Lane served as CEO of Global Forex, LLC, a 24-hour online foreign currency trading service, where he led the company to $1 billion in online currency transactions. Lane also served as co-founder, president and chief operating officer of J&R Interests and L&L Ventures, both land development and homebuilding entities, where he directed all operations. Lane received a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.

STEPHEN J. O'BRIEN, CO-CHAIRMAN AND CO-FOUNDER
Stephen O'Brien serves as co-chairman of Nextjet Technologies, where he oversees the strategic direction of the organization. O'Brien was previously the president of Big Hand, Inc., an Internet services firm that handled Internet consulting and Web development, where he was responsible for all operations. He eventually sold the company to Rare Medium Group, Inc. O'Brien was also an investment banker with Martek and Associates, where he provided strategic advice for foreign firms acquiring U.S. companies. He earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from The University of California at Irvine and a master of business administration degree from Southern Methodist University.
