The Dynamic Sourcing for Inventory Management module enables users to link inventory management activities into the full functionality of the Nextjet Transportation modules. Through the Dynamic Sourcing Module, users can search available inventory across multiple warehouse facilities. Moreover, at the individual query level, the module dynamically determines the optimal sourcing point for a given inventory pull based on availability, customer preferences, transportation costs to a given destination, and delivery times. Within seconds, the system returns the optimal sourcing point with full itinerary detail.

The module enables users to minimize transportation costs while still meeting service level commitments, particularly applicable within the service parts logistics sector where delivery windows are tight.
