Collaborative Transportation Management

The Collaborative Transportation Management Module enables users to create private carrier marketplaces by adapting dispatching methods to the practices of the given carrier market tapped. The Collaborative Transportation Management application enables both contract based tender and spot market load/shipment auctions and subsequent assignment to designated carriers, leveraging opportunities to consolidate across customers where feasible.

Routine shipments can be configured for serial tender along carrier preference engine lines, while extra-ordinary shipments can be auctioned on a parallel assignment and acceptance basis to multiple carriers within a given market segment and geography.

Clients have leveraged the Collaborative Transportation Management module to reduce their spend on premium/expedited transportation services through bidding and splitting shipments into non-expedited and expedited components.
